Dowfrost and Dowcal inhibited glycol based fluids are widely used for freeze protection to -50C, burst protection to -73C and corrosion protection in closed-loop, water-based heating and air-conditioning systems, as well as water based cooling circuits.

These fluids contain specially formulated corrosion inhibitor packages which provide protection for metals commonly used in heat transfer systems.
